Hi! I’m Claire Murphy, the owner of Curated Minimalism Co. I am a clinical pharmacist in an intensive care unit at a large academic medical center by day and a creator by night. Born to a mathematician and a ceramicist it’s no surprise I like to use both sides of my brain!

I have been creating since childhood, learning to work with clay and throw pots alongside my mother, and learning to knit and sew from my grandmother. As an adult I returned to my creative side to balance out the intensity of working in healthcare and to provide an opportunity to stretch the left side of my brain.

My personal aesthetic is minimalist but I love a mix of materials (wood, metals, stone), and unique, one a kind pieces. I love the interplay of contemporary style with vintage and antique decor. As a minimalist, every item in my home is selected with purpose. While it is sometimes hard to let go of the pieces I make or find, my minimalism always prevails! And so after ‘living’ with me for awhile, they will almost always make their way to the available page for you to enjoy.
